Membership

UNIT/PITT membership means being part of a community that values artist-run culture, critical dialogue, and meaningful engagement! Starting November 2025, we’ve reimagined our membership program to offer more meaningful benefits to our community members. You don’t have to be an artist to join—everyone is welcome.

Annual Membership: $15–$50 (Sliding Scale)

While $30 is our recommended fee (only $2.50 a month!), our sliding scale fee structure lets you choose what works for your budget. All members receive the same benefits regardless of your chosen fee.

We also offer reduced cost fee scales at request if the stated range is a barrier. Please contact info [@] unitpitt.ca to arrange.

If you would like to commit more than $50, please consider donating below.

Membership is Meaningful!

Membership with UNIT/PITT is about committing your support to an organization that sustains artist-run culture in Vancouver, across Canada, and beyond. Your support allows us to continue growing and maintaining the legacy of essential experimentation, critical inquiry, subcultural production, and arts advocacy; more essential now than ever.

Please note: membership is no longer tied to mandatory committee participation, and no application is required to become a member.

Donations

UNIT/PITT Society for Art and Critical Awareness is a charitable non-profit artist-run organization that supports art and critical awareness by offering the tools, space, resources, and mentorship for emerging artists and members of our neighbouring communities to engage in experimental creative work that advances a more expansive, inclusive reality for art and cultural production.

As a non-profit and registered charity, UNIT/PITT relies on regular donations from our community. All donations are processed through our CanadaHelps account, and are eligible for a tax receipt.
