This is the week that we launch our co-presentation with battery opera performance, titled Vancouver, Crawling, Weeping, Betting. Over the next seven weeks, we will host evening projections, late-night performances, and walking tours. The schedule is pretty impressive, and crosses all sorts of disciplinary boundaries.
On Thursday nights, the “Witching Hour Solos” are window projections that begin at 11:30 pm and go on well after midnight; Friday nights at 10 pm, “Bob’s Salon” is a series of performances; Saturday afternoons from noon until 5 pm, the Pitt will serve as a launching pad for performed city tours. There will also be an always-changing exhibition on view during our regular public hours, and a book by project co-curators David McIntosh and Chris Bose (more on that later).
