Ali Bosley is UNIT/PITT’s Executive Director, having joined the organization in 2024 as Interim Director before stepping into an Associate Director role and eventually taking on full leadership in 2026. She previously spent five years administering and organizing with Duplex Artists’ Society and co-founded the Vancouver Artists Labour Union Co-op. Ali also maintains her own painting, drawing, and poetry practice, and holds a Master’s in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Kira Saragih is UNIT/PITT’s Programs Manager and an Indonesian (Sunda-Batak) artist and arts worker based in Vancouver. Her artistic practice centers on textiles, community-building, and friendship as interconnected forms of cultural labour, and she brings that same care into her arts administration work. Kira previously served as U/P’s Archives Project Coordinator, helping lead the organization’s 50th anniversary celebrations, and holds a BFA from Simon Fraser University.

Madison Mayhew

Madison Mayhew is a writer, musician, and cultural worker based in Vancouver, BC. She works as the Senior Admin and Finance Coordinator at 221A Artist Run Centre Society. She holds a MA in Comparative Media Arts from SFU’s School for the Contemporary Arts (2021) and a BFA in Critical and Cultural Practice from Emily Carr University (2017).

Craig Stensrud

Craig Stensrud teaches in the English department of Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where he aims to foster a critical and collaborative classroom community dedicated to mutual support, intellectual development, and academic integrity. In 2020, he received the Killam Graduate Teaching Assistant Award for his classroom instruction. Craig has a chapter in a forthcoming edited collection on Gothic Melville, and is currently a member of the Executive for the Canadian Association for American Studies. In addition to his academic pursuits, Craig is an active member of Vancouver’s diy underground music scene, and plays in a band called Yes.

Nico Ford

Nico Ford is an entrepreneur and multi-disciplinary designer passionate about aesthetics and social impact. With a background in both the non-profit and tech sectors and creative agencies, she brings a diverse range of operational experience and people-first perspectives to her secretary and people operations committee positions. An Emily Carr University and BCIT alumni, Nico is driven toward environmental sustainability, accessibility, justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, decolonizing, and exploring the intersection of art and activism. She loves cycling, music, dancing and spending time in the mountains or on the ocean.

Henry Tsang

Henry Tsang is an artist and occasional curator who explores the spatial politics of history, cultural translation, community-building, the mobility of people, capital, values, desires, and food in relationship to place. His projects employ video, photography, interactive media, convivial events, and language, in particular, Chinook Jargon, the North American west coast trade language. Presentations take the form of gallery exhibitions, pop-up street food offerings, 360 video walking tours, curated dinners, ephemeral and permanent public art. Henry is the creator of 360 Riot Walk, a 360 video walking tour of the 1907 Anti-Asian Riots, and author of White Riot: The 1907 Anti-Asian Riots in Vancouver (Arsenal Pulp Press). He is a past recipient of the VIVA Award and is an Associate Dean at Emily Carr University of Art & Design.

Héloïse Auvray

Héloïse Auvray (they/them) is an artist, writer and cultural worker based in so-called Vancouver on the unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. They particularly work with repetitive and time-consuming processes, with the optic of re-valuing (s)low production and currently explore topics related to the Home and urban landscapes. They hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia with a focus on Visual Arts and Art History.

Marianne Thodas

Marianne Thodas (b.1997) is a lesbian filmmaker and sound artist born in Okotoks, AB, now based in Vancouver, BC. Deeply interested in expanded modes of film and sound production, her pieces contextualize images and sounds of the familiar. During her BFA at Simon Fraser University’s School for the Contemporary Arts, she studied with world-renowned filmmakers and theorists whose work specialized in challenging the traditional boundaries between creative and critical practice in film. Inspired by the thematic, narrative, and technological experimentation taught during her degree, Thodas has fashioned a special brand of hybrid film to examine topics of memory, belonging, mortality, lineage and place-based attachment. Outside of creating her own films, she works with artist-run organizations—such as Cineworks Independent Filmmakers Society—to run workshops and create community-based initiatives promoting engagement with independent cinema. Her new film, ‘Over the Island’, has now completed post-production and is currently in distribution.

Solange Adum Abdala

Solange Adum Abdala (b. 1980, Peru) is an interdisciplinary visual artist and photographer. Her practice is situated at the intersection of art, science, and history; questioning conceptions of territory, landscape, belonging, and spacetime. Beginning with an early focus on surfaces through photography, her work now proposes a deconstruction, reconstruction, and reevaluation of the photographic apparatus. In addition to her artistic practice, she has twenty years of experience as an educator in undergraduate programs of Photography and Arts in Peru, Chile, and Canada. In 2020, she co-founded Galería Pública, a platform dedicated to diverse photographic production in Peru.

Sasha J. Langford

Sasha J. Langford is an interdisciplinary artist who works at the intersection of sound, writing, performance, and social practice. In her collaborations with choreographers and media artists, as well as her solo live performance practice, Sasha’s work has been presented at Ehkä-Kutomo (Turku, Finland), FestivALT (Kraków, Poland), Lines of Flight Festival of Experimental Music (Dunedin, New Zealand), Ende Tymes (Brooklyn, NY), Suoni Per Il Popolo (Montreal, QC), Western Front (Vancouver, BC), and the International Noise Conference (Miami, FL).
As a writer and thinker, Sasha has published critical texts and delivered public talks through Access Gallery, About A Bicycle, Charcuterie, The School of Making Thinking, and the Vancouver Institute for Social Research. Most recently, her writing has appeared in the Norient publication on place and sound Home Is Where the Heart Strives (2025) as well as the edited collection Lacan and the Environment (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021). She has been artist in residence and produced commissioned work through the Festival of Recorded Movement, Vancouver New Music, What Lab, the Media Arts Committee, and the Strathcona Art Gallery and Library.
Sasha resides on the occupied xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ territories known as Vancouver, BC. She is a SSHRC Doctoral Fellow in the School for Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University.

Kevin T. Day

Kevin T. Day is an artist and researcher working at the intersection of data-driven media art, critical information studies, and philosophy of technology. Taking the form of interactive media installations that often utilize data, video, sound, haptic, and kinetic components, his practice and research examine the socio-political issues of the digital economy. He received his MFA and PhD from the University of British Columbia and is currently based in Vancouver. He has exhibited his work internationally and presented his research through the top international platforms for art and technology such as SIGGRAPH, ISEA, and Leonardo. He teaches digital art in the UBC Bachelor of Media Studies program and the politics of algorithmic and information systems at the UBC School of Information.

Amélie Malissard

Amélie Malissard (she/her) has worked in non-profit and arts operations and project management in Canada for a decade and is deeply involved in the experimental music scene in Vancouver and Montreal. She is currently Operations Manager at the BC Civil Liberties Association, where she supports the association on governance, records, annual reporting, finances, and audits, and serves as Secretary and volunteer project manager on the board of Barking Sphinx Performance Society. She brings strong financial, operational, and governance skills, and a values alignment with U/P’s mission to support experimental critical practices.
