Wrong Wave is an erratic festival hosted by UNIT/PITT celebrating the intersection of music, performance, visual art and publishing. Curated by NuZi Collective, the seventh instalment will feature the launch of a limited edition publication (Tue Nov 19), and a music showcase (Thu Nov 21) at 8EAST.

Join us to celebrate the launch of WRONG WAVE BY NUZI COLLECTIVE, an art book with contributions by Nicola Awang, Amna Elnour, Marv Houngbo, Odera Igbokwe, Nanyamka Lewis, Kafiya Mudey, Betty Mulat, and Afrodykie Zoe. Design by Cora Yiu, and riso printed with Moniker Press.
Artist talk/discussion with Nanyamka Lewis (Black Art Gastown) and Amna Elnour, led by NuZi (Betty Mulat, Zam Warsame).

UNIT/PITT operates out of 8EAST (8 East Pender Street) in Chinatown and the Downtown Eastside, on stolen lands belonging to the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlil̓wətaʔɬ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations.
