As you know, UNIT/PITT moved to a new location earlier this year. The interior of the new building, at 236 E. Pender Street, has undergone tremendous renovations since we moved in—new floors, white walls, wiring and lights, plumbing repairs, and at last, heating. Unfortunately our awkward door and minimal heat is not equal to the demands of a below-freezing day, making it difficult to work in the gallery and office today. We’re closing early, and retreating to a warmer location. We hope it will be better tomorrow!

New music from Mathew Sawyer
Had a nice package in the post today from Mathew Sawyer, who showed and performed with us in 2011. It’s his new CD, Sleep Dreamt a Brother, accompanied by some constructive suggestions for improving the community.
