The Canadian RomanticThis week – Broken Pencil (The Magazine of Zine Culture an the Independent Arts) published a short review on Robert Dayton’s The Canadian Romantic, co-published by UNIT/PITT Projects and Publication Studio Vancouver in January 2012. The review was written by Alison Lang, outlining the content of the book as “part sketchbook, part diary entry, and part collection of sexy affirmations”.

The Canadian Romantic is a book consisting of tenderly hand-drawn illustrations and musings by the artist and his alter ego. Its publication coincided with Dayton’s performance: An Evening with the Canadian Romantic.

The Canadian Romantic is available for purchase at Unit/Pitt Projects, online through Publication Studio, and at various retail outlets.
