Yesterday, UNIT/PITT Projects received new stock from Luminous Books (London) and Owl Cave (San Francisco). New arrivals include: William S. Burroughs, the Evergreen Review and the Coelacanth Journal issues 6, 7 & 8 from London.
The Coelacanth Press, named after the Prehistoric fish with a human heart that was thought to be extinct but then rediscovered under a ledge in the South-Seas, was founded in 2008 as a publisher, research methodology and collective. Coelacanth Journal Issue 6: It Came In The Night features a reading list by Owl Cave and Issue 7 features a reading list by Luminous Books on the theme of High Rise. We also have a recent reprint of The King of a Rainy Country by Brigid Brophy from Coelacanth Press.Luminous Books|Owl Cave partially occupy UNIT/PITT Projects from 15th February – 30th March 2013 alongside PJS Collective: Before I’m Done, which ends on March 9, 2013.
