Research + Presentation Centre opens tonight at 15 E Pender St. Rather than an exhibition, this is a working installation for use by the public: these selections from the personal libraries of participants are both traces of the origins of artistic and scholarly inquiry, and opportunities for further exploration by the public.
Opening is at 8pm, on Thursday April 5. After that, we’ll be open from noon to 5pm, Wednesday through Saturday until May 5 (with the exception of Friday, April 6, when we’ll be closed). Later this year we will be launching a book project by R+P contributor Jerry Zaslove — details soon. In the meantime, R+P notebooks, co-published by UNIT/PITT and Publication Studio Vancouver, are available for $5 each (or a set of all five, with a handy strap, are $25).
