In the close of summer, we invite you to join us in the UNIT/PITT garden to reminisce and recenter in time together 🌀🐛
Reminisce via sun printing: We’ll harness the power of the sun to make anthotype prints using a turmeric-based solution and sunlight 🌼Gather flowers, leaves, and herbs from the garden or bring your own items that are emblematic of this summer—or nostalgic of summers past—to create prints with :- ) We encourage you to experiment and we recommend bringing items with interesting shapes or varying degrees of translucency for best results. ✨
Recenter via writing: Thinking toward the seasons ahead, Chantal Myfawny and the team will guide an optional writing exercise on what we’d like to bring forward from this summer; letters to self, notes of gratitude and memories. There will be a few typewriters at the event, generously provided by Chantal, so you can type your piece and take it home with you 💟
Light snacks and tea will be provided 🍵🌱 Please RSVP so we know how many people are coming and so you can understand our community guidelines! <3
