Vezzoli film night posterThanks to our neighbours down the block at 51 East Pender, there’s a screening and party to benefit the Pitt this Friday night. The Rennie Collection are hosting an evening of short films from Francesco Vezzoli, with the films running continuously in one of their spacious rooms, leaving room to drink and mingle in the next room. Your $10 admission (buy tickets in advance) also includes one drink; proceeds from the evening will go to UNIT/PITT, and will help us to pay artists, publish artists’ books, and pay the rent in the coming year.

Thanks, neighbours. This is not something that we were expecting, to be honest, and every little bit helps.

And as you walk by the Pitt space at 15 East Pender, you can stop for a moment and watch Kate Armstrong and Michael Tippett’s Space Video, screening in the front window — or if you have a radio handy, you may be able to tune in the audiobook version of Kate Armstrong’s Path, up until June 9.
